These ice gel blankets measure 16.5 inches wide by 10 feet long. The gel cells are 4.25 x 2.76 inches. Simply cut to size; soak in water for 8 to 12 minutes; and, freeze. We are the manufacturer of these Ice Blankets and they are shipped dry from Pennsylvania. Inside each cell is a food-safe powder that mixes with water to create a gel. The water soaks through the fibrous side of the cells; mixes with the “phase change” powder; and, then turns into a gel which is too thick to escape the blanket. For over 12 years, we have personally shipped over 200,000 packages to chefs and private consumers in transit times up to 3 days in any ambient temperature. In addition to our Ice Blankets, we also have a US patent for the design and manufacture of insulated coolers.
