If you do not want to miss out on the barefoot running feeling in winter and still want to keep warm feet, the half-height Frost Glove boot is well advised. A fleece and PrimaLoft lining keeps the cold away, a waterproof, breathable membrane and a permanently water-repellent coating protect against moisture. The shoe has a footbed and has 3.5 mm thick cushioning. This makes it not as minimalist as other barefoot shoes, not suitable for winter, but still allows you to feel much more from the ground than a classic winter boot. The Aegis Microbe Shield prevents the formation of unpleasant odours.
In addition to the half-height frost glove, Merrell also has a very high winter barefoot boot, the Snow Glove.
